The Bradley Barcola and Paris Saint-Germain transfer saga continues with its next instalment after an asking price has been set. After an impressive run at the 2026 World Cup with France, 23-year-old winger is looking for a new challenge away from the French capital.

According to reports from L'Equipe, the PSG star has made his "final decision" regarding his future.

Why Bradley Barcola Wants To Leave PSG

Despite being offered improved terms by the back-to-back Champions League winners, Barcola has opted to end all negotiations Mbappe style over a contract extension.

With his current deal set to expire in 2028, PSG have been forced to act, reportedly slapping a hefty €120 million price tag on their prized winger.

While Barcola is not expected to force a toxic exit from the Parc des Princes, his refusal to renew has put Europe’s elite clubs on high alert. However, it seems the player only has eyes for one destination.

Why Liverpool Lead The Race For Bradley Barcola

Despite strong interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea, Foot Mercato reports that Barcola has explicitly prioritised a move to Liverpool. In fact, the winger has already rejected advances from Chelsea to hold out for a switch to Merseyside.

The 23-year-old is said to be deeply attracted to the sporting project currently taking shape under new Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola. Should the two clubs manage to agree on a fee, Barcola would link up with fellow Frenchmen Jeremy Jacquet and Hugo Ekitike at Anfield.

The biggest challenge now will be the finances.

While PSG is reportedly looking to clear out space for new arrivals—having already agreed to personal terms with Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche—a €120m valuation is incredibly steep.

The Reds' hierarchy will need to decide just how much they are willing to invest to secure a player who could be the next Salah. Liverpool have always had a strict wage structure so could make negotiations stall there too. But hopefully the Premier League might have another exciting attacker to look forward to.
