Interim statement

Striver’s full cookies policy is being finalised with our legal team. In the meantime, the site uses a small number of essential cookies to keep it running and remember your preferences between visits. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Analytics

When you choose “Accept all” on the cookies banner, we load Vercel’s privacy-friendly page analytics and Google Analytics 4 so we can understand which stories are being read. Choose “Essential only” and neither script loads. Your choice is stored in this browser only and you can change it any time by clearing site data.

Images and embeds

We use SmartFrame to display licensed images from IMAGO across the site. SmartFrame may set strictly-necessary device identifiers on a legitimate-interests basis, used only to prevent abuse, fraud, and to rate-limit traffic. These identifiers do not require your consent under UK PECR, are not used for advertising or profiling, and the data SmartFrame keeps permanently is limited to anonymous aggregate counts.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies from your browser’s settings at any time. For any question about what Striver sets and why, email Eleanor@joinstriver.com.

The full policy will be published here when it is ready.
