Our commitment to accessible design on Striver.

Last updated: 14 May 2026

Our commitment

Striver is designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA standard. The site supports keyboard navigation, screen readers, reduced-motion preferences and responsive layouts down to small mobile viewports. Brand colour pairings are assessed for contrast, and the design system enforces a shared set of tokens so accessibility work is not reinvented per page.

Known issues

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA across the site. A few areas we already know fall short and are tracked for fixing:

  • Some PDFs in the documents library have not been re-tagged for screen readers. We are migrating these to native HTML pages.
  • Editorial photography embedded via SmartFrame uses the licensor's own player chrome. Our keyboard pattern is honoured up to the embed boundary; behaviour inside the player matches SmartFrame's defaults.
  • White text on the brand mint background passes AA for body copy but not AAA. We avoid using it for body text and reserve it for short calls-to-action where the larger size carries the contrast.

Report an accessibility issue

If something on Striver is hard to use, tell us. We will triage and respond.

Eleanor@joinstriver.com is the current route. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days.

Enforcement

In Great Britain the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) enforces the Equality Act 2010. In Northern Ireland the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI) enforces the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. If you contact us about an accessibility issue and are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the relevant body.
