Striver is built for young players and young fans. Protecting children is therefore fundamental to everything we do. This declaration is published in compliance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy and sets out our position on preventing and protecting children from Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (“CSAE”) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”).

Striver prohibits all CSAE and CSAM on its platform and has a zero-tolerance approach.

Any account that violates this prohibition will be removed, and confirmed cases of CSAE or CSAM will be reported to law enforcement. We will co-operate fully with law enforcement in relation to CSAE and CSAM, and comply with all applicable child-safety laws and regulations.

What we mean by CSAE and CSAM

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (“CSAE”) includes content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, for example, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”) consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

How we prevent and address CSAE and CSAM

As set out in our terms of use, we use AI-powered content moderation technology to screen all user-generated posts before they are published. This is designed to prevent minors of any age from encountering CSAE content, and to prevent CSAM from being present on Striver.
Our moderation team reviews content flagged by the automated system, as well as content reported by users, and decides whether further action is required. We will swiftly take down any CSAE and CSAM that we become aware of.
We also perform age verification and tailor the experience by age. Younger users may have certain features restricted, such as the ability to receive messages from other users or to see content from users they do not know.

If you become aware of any content that you believe is inappropriate, including any CSAE or CSAM, you can report it using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us at support@joinstriver.com.

On a video: open the menu on the video, choose to report it, and select the reason.
On a comment: open the menu on the comment, choose to report it, and select the reason.
Anywhere else: any other content or account can be reported by emailing support@joinstriver.com.

Onward reporting

Striver will report confirmed cases of CSAE or CSAM to the appropriate body, for example the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (US), the Internet Watch Foundation (UK), or an equivalent organisation.
