Premier League champions Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Michael Olise’s contract situation at Bayern Munich.

According to Football Transfers, the Gunners are paying closing attention to the contract negotiation between the French international and the German champions.

Olise joined Bayern Munich in 2024 from Crystal Palace and his current deal at the club is expected to run out in 2029.

His eye-catching performances for Bayern Munich and France have made him a transfer target for several European clubs, but the Bavarians are keen on keeping him at the club with an improved deal.

Olise has become a fan favourite at the Allianz Arena where has won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and he is already off to a flying start this season.

The Frenchman has contributed six goals and two assists for Bayern Munich this season while he has four goals and two assists for France in the UEFA Nations League.

ARSENAL KEEPING TABS ON OLISE

Olise has emerged as a target for the Gunners as they look to strengthen their frontline after losing Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli in the summer.

Arsenal were reportedly linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior in the summer but the Brazil star committed his future to the Blancos.

Mikel Arteta brought Greece winger Christos Tzolis in the summer but the Gunners are reportedly looking for a high-profile player to boost their attack.

Football Transfers added that Olise is among the names Arsenal are monitoring as he is locked in talks with Bayern Munich over a new deal.

WHAT WILL OLISE BRING TO ARSENAL

Olise is not a strange name in the Premier League, having previously played for Crystal Palace.

He was a former Arsenal Academy player before he joined Chelsea then Manchester City youth teams and he formed an impactful partnership with Arsenal star Eberechi Eze at Crystal Palace.

Olise’s playmaking skills would come as an advantage for the Gunners in a congested season and he is goalscoring stint would be an addition for Arteta’s side who are looking to secure back-to-back Premier League success.
