For millions of football fans, JDB Football has become the face of grassroots content.

Through player-worn GoPro footage, Jack Beech has built one of football's biggest online communities by showing grassroots football exactly as players experience it, capturing every tackle, pass, goal and celebration from a player's perspective.

Now, after being voted into StriveAid by the public for a second consecutive year, the creator says the event has played a major role in his development as both a creator and a person.

How JDB Football Earned His Place At StriveAid

JDB Football wasn't selected by a panel or invited behind closed doors. Instead, supporters voted for him to take part, something he admits was an emotional experience as the nominations flooded social media.

"When I was seeing the notifications come through constantly, saying 'JDB Football, JDB Football', I thought every minute, 'Oh my God, I might actually get in.'"

When confirmation finally arrived, it became a moment he'll never forget.

"When I actually got that message saying, 'Right, you're in,' it was the best feeling ever. Knowing that I was going to play in the game was unbelievable."

More Than Just A Football Match

For Jack, StriveAid is about much more than stepping onto the pitch.

Having featured at last year's event alongside football legends and some of the biggest creators in the game, he believes the charity's purpose is just as important as the football itself.

"There's two reasons really. Obviously, the cause and the reason the game exists, and then the opportunity I got last year when I played with Roberto Carlos, Gilberto Silva and all the other creators."

The experience left a lasting impression, both on and off the pitch.

How StriveAid Changed JDB Football's Journey

Like many creators, Jack admits content creation isn't always straightforward.

Views fluctuate, engagement changes and confidence can take a hit.

But StriveAid gave him exactly the boost he needed.

"Every creator goes through tough patches where your views or engagement can drop."

"Meeting new people and making the video from StriveAid... it became one of my best-performing videos of the whole year. It gave me a lot of confidence."

Today, his football content has amassed hundreds of millions of views across platforms, but he credits experiences like StriveAid for helping keep that momentum going.

Why Grassroots Football Deserves More Attention

JDB Football has built its audience by celebrating grassroots football rather than the professional game.

For Jack, that's because grassroots is where football truly belongs.

"There's more people playing grassroots than anything else."

"Professional football is a very small amount. Semi-professional is still a small amount. But almost everyone has played, watched, sponsored or been involved in grassroots football."

It's why his point-of-view videos resonate with so many supporters, giving viewers a realistic look at the game they recognise every weekend.

How JDB Football's GoPro Videos Changed Grassroots Content

His signature GoPro perspective has transformed how fans experience amateur football.

Watching the footage back often reveals moments even he missed during the match.

"When I'm editing the video, something will happen next to me or in front of me that I don't even remember happening."

That unique viewpoint allows supporters to experience grassroots football from inside the game, making every tackle, decision and moment feel authentic.

Why JDB Football Wants To Inspire The Next Generation

With millions of young footballers watching his videos, Jack understands the influence creators now have.

He believes football content should entertain while setting a positive example.

"It's a very fine line between entertainment and making sure you're not influencing people to do things they shouldn't."

"Every football creator has a big part to play in influencing the younger generation."

As StriveAid continues to bring together football creators, legends and supporters for a greater cause, Jack's story shows the impact extends far beyond one match.

Sometimes, the biggest opportunity isn't scoring in front of thousands of fans.

It's inspiring the next generation to fall in love with grassroots football.
