Kai Rooney and Jacey Carrick are among the 15 young players Manchester United have signed as first-year academy scholars.
Jacey Carrick described the moment as "special" as he was awarded a Manchester United shirt with his name on the back and the number 26.
Jacey hasn't debuted in the FA Youth Cup yet but will be involved in the U-18s for this coming season. His father, Michael Carrick, went onto say: "This day is very special because I remember the first time when I signed for Man United and it just brings back flashbacks. To put this blazer on is brilliant."
The Rooney family were just as delighted with 16-year-old Kai Rooney hoping this was the start of "something great". Kai Rooney made his debut at Old Trafford last season in a substitute appearance in the FA Youth Cup against Derby County.
Head of Academy Stephen Torpey spoke to the audience during the emotional event while standing alongside former United academy prospect, England international and Kerala Blasters FC defender Wes Brown.
Torpey went onto say: "Boys, each and every one of you in the room is going to have to show courage to be successful in your lives. To be successful at Old Trafford on that pitch, you're going to have to show courage that deserves to wear this blazer with pride, but also to go on and be as successful as you want to be in your career.
"We want you to show the character to wear this badge with pride, and the weight of this blazer, badge and jersey, because we know it's not going to be easy."
Torpey congratulated the youngsters on an amazing achievement but also reminded the players that this is simply just the beginning in a long road to becoming a first team Manchester United player.

What Does a Manchester United Academy Scholarship Mean?
The scholarship agreement optimises the final stage in a player's youth journey at a club. A scholarship at this age is the last one of their career before becoming eligible to sign a professional contract when the player turns 17 years old.
Why JJ Gabriel Is Still Waiting for His Manchester United Scholarship
The highly talented English youngster was a notable miss on the list of 15 scholars. However, due to Gabriel being 15 years old he is unable to sign the agreement.
Gabriel is expected to sign as a scholar this time next year when he has turned 16 years old. The Red Devils are expected to face some competition to win the Enfield born attacker's signature.
With Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich all monitoring his progress, Manchester United will hope to secure JJ Gabriel's scholarship next summer and keep one of England's brightest young talents at Carrington.
