Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has won the Best Player in the First Division and the Sporting Career Award at the fifth edition of the Spanish Footballers' Association (AFE) Awards.
Yamal was voted by Spanish footballers in all divisions for his contributions in the country's successful run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and his role in steering Barcelona to lift La Liga title last season.
Last season, Yamal scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in 28 La Liga matches and in Europe, he played 10 Champions League games with six goals and four assists to his name.

Yamal has set clear ambitions to win the UEFA Champions League with Barcelona this season.
Hansi Flick's men were knocked out in the quarter-finals last summer, and the club hopes to end its long wait for European glory since 2015 this season.
"I thank my teammates for voting me the best player in the category. It's easy to have won with such great teammates, but you have to stay grounded," Yamal was quoted by the AFE website.
"I notice that I am evolving , but I still have room to improve, being so young.
"My goal this season is to win the Champions League."

In the summer, Yamal shrugged off fitness concerns to play an important role in Spain's triumph at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 19-year-old was an attacking threat to opposition and his impact was evident in the knockout stage of the competition.
Yamal played all eight matches at the World Cup and scored a goal (against Saudi Arabia), making him the second-youngest goalscorer in the competition at age 18 years and 343 days.
He remembered the 1-0 defeat of Portugal in the round of 16 and the 2-0 win over France as important results that lifted Spain's determination to overcome the world.
"Every day you feel happy, but we want to win more," he added. "The victories against Portugal and France made us all believe we could win the World Cup."
CAZORLA, MORATA AMONG BIG WINNERS AT AFE AWARDS
The star-studded ceremony that took place in Madrid also saw Santi Cazorla receive the Manuel Esteo Award for being a role model throughout his career.
The 41-year-old retired from professional football on July 2, following the relegation of his boyhood club Real Oviedo from La Liga at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Cazorla spent the majority of his career in Spain with stints at Villarreal, Recreativo de Huelva and Malaga. He also played at Arsenal for six years and Qatari club Al Sadd.
Alvaro Morata claimed the AFE Values Award for his perseverance, humanity and being an example of effort.
The 33-year-old striker who has enjoyed a nomadic career across Europe, is back in Spain to compete in the second division with CD Leganes this season.
The Spanish national football team also claimed the Lifetime Achievement Award for the World Cup success.
