During their chaotic eight-goal thriller in which Antoine Semenyo bagged a brace while Enzo Fernandez and Rayan Cherki also chipped in for Manchester City while Brian Brobbey scored a hat-trick for the visitors, it was Haaland's 81st-minute strike that completed the record.

After seeing an initial effort chalked off before VAR intervened to reverse the offside call, Haaland fired home City's fifth of the afternoon.
That single swing of his boot meant something massive. Haaland has now scored against every Premier League club he has faced for City, completing a 25/25 record.
Prior to Sunday, Sunderland had been the only club Haaland had faced in the Premier League without scoring against, having failed to score in his two previous Premier League appearances against them.
With that blemish officially wiped away, the striker has completed the full set.

It also placed Brobbey alongside Robbie Fowler, Dirk Kuyt and Romelu Lukaku as the fourth player to score a Premier League hat-trick against a side starting the day top of the table.
