The Wales international becomes Leeds United's first signing of the summer.

Harry Wilson has joined Leeds United following the expiry of his contract at Fulham.

Wilson, who joined Fulham for £12 million in 2021, scored 39 goals and provided 30 assists in 194 games for Fulham in all competitions.

The 2025-26 season proved to be Wilson's breakthrough campaign at Fulham, as he established himself as a regular starter while scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in the Premier League.

The Welshman’s season featured some brilliant long-range goals against Brighton and Tottenham, while his outstanding finish against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage won BBC’s Match of the Day Goal of the Season award.

Wilson’s stunning season also saw him rewarded with the club's Player of the Year award.

Marco Silva’s first signing at Fulham, Wilson broke through the Liverpool academy but never made a first-team appearance for the Reds and subsequently developed with loan spells at Crewe Alexandra and Hull City.

How Harry Wilson's Career Led Him To Leeds United

It was the 2018-19 season where Wilson, on loan at Derby County, first made a name for himself with a wonderful season for Frank Lampard’s Rams, contributing 18 goals and 6 assists.

Playing alongside a certain Mason Mount, Wilson couldn't prevent Derby’s defeat to Aston Villa in the Play-Off Final.

Given an opportunity to prove himself at Premier League level, Wilson stood out in a Bournemouth side that was relegated on the last day during lockdown.

A frequent traveller, he then spent a season on loan in the Welsh capital with Cardiff City before his move to Craven Cottage.

What Harry Wilson Brings To Leeds United

Wilson combines excellent football intelligence with creativity and composure in possession. Instead of charging down the wing with blistering pace, he drifts inwards to find pockets of space via his excellent vision.

A ruthless finisher, Wilson is an expert at playing long diagonal passes to launch a counterattack and will certainly challenge for the starting right winger spot.

What Wilson's Departure Means For Fulham

Negotiations surrounding Wilson’s contract began to stall in January, so Fulham acted swiftly by signing Oscar Bobb from Manchester City for £18 million that same month.

A similar player who exudes composure, confidence and vision on the ball, Bobb was clearly brought as a like-for-like replacement, and Wilson’s departure will surely allow him to become a regular starter for Fulham next season.
