Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca spoke in his press conference about Antoine Semeyo's apparent snubbing of Chelsea. Opting instead for Manchester City as his first choice for new club.

This is what the Italian manager said when asked a question about Semenyo deciding against making a move to Stamford Bridge. The Bournemouth winger was linked to the Blues initially but apparently he is more keen for a move to the Etihad.

Semenyo has been on fire for Bournemouth this season. He scored against Burnley last time out to make it eight Premier League goals this season. In sixteen matches this means he is averaging a goal every other game.

This only becomes more impressive playing for a weaker Bournemouth side. The south coast club currently sit on Twenty-two points which puts them fithteen in the Relagation zone.

It is becoming increasingly clear that it is not about if Semenyo will leave but where he will go.

The Blue side of London however are for sure out of the race for his signature. Semenyo will come to Stamford Bridge soon though, in Bournemouth colours.

The Cherries will make a visit to London in their final game of the year. This could potentially be Semenyo's last game for the club if whoever does sign him acts fast in January.

Despite missing out on Semenyo, Chelsea are still likely to spend big in the window. Historically under this ownership Chelsea spends large in the January window. Maresca comments of "being in love" with his players may mean less money being spent than usual for the Blues.
