Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe found it difficult to pick between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the Ballon d'Or award.
However, the Frenchman believes he merits the best player award after an impressive season for club and country last season.
Mbappe scored 50 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid last season, and he set a new record as the highest-scoring player in World Cup history after scoring 10 goals in eight games for France, taking his overall World Cup tally to 22 goals.

In a social media video posted by the organiser of the Ballon d'Or, Mbappe struggled to pick his preferred player between Messi and Ronaldo.
The Real Madrid star favoured Ousmane Dembele over Rodri, Karim Benzema, Kaka, Luka Modric but picked Ronaldinho over the PSG forward.
The quiz continued with Mbappe picking Ronaldo over Ronaldinho and Zidane over Ronaldo, then Messi got his nod ahead of Zidane.

The quiz that was posted by the Ballon d'Or organisers on Monday was stirred by Mbappe's comments in Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League pre-match press conference.
The 27-year-old was asked if he sees himself winning the Ballon d'Or this year after his individual success for club and country.
"When you play for the best club in the world, people naturally associate you with these kinds of awards, both team and individual," Mbappe said in the press conference.
"Many people talk to me in the street about the Ballon d'Or and mention me as a possible winner. It's an award that's a positive thing for every player.
"I've made a lot of history this summer in the most important competition in sports, but we'll see. I have a feeling it's a good year for it, but there's still a lot of time and people are free to vote for who they think is the best player in the world."
When quizzed further if he considers himself as the best player in the world, Mbappe added: "Always, but it’s something very personal. Everyone has their own opinion.
"There may be people here who think I’m the best in the world and others who don’t. I don’t think everyone has to think like me.
"Of course, I think this year could be a good year to win the Ballon d’Or, but it’s the journalists who will vote."
