Liam Rosenior Enjoying Paris FC's Unbeaten Start to Ligue 1 Campaign

Paris FC manager Liam Rosenior has expressed his satisfaction with his players’ performance after their 3-2 win against Olympique Marseille on Sunday.

Lassine Sinayoko was the hero of the night as the Parisians bagged maximum points for the second time this season and they remain unbeaten after three Ligue 1 games.

Paris FC are one of the six teams yet to lose a match in the French top flight this season, and they are now second in the table, two points behind leaders AS Monaco.

ROSENIOR BOASTS OF PARIS FC’S ATTACKING OPTIONS

After failing to score in their league opener against Troyes, Paris FC have scored three goals in their last two Ligue 1 games and Rosenior is full of praise for his attackers.

The English manager is happy with the multiple options available to pick from and he is also enjoying his time in the French capital.

In the game against Marseille, Luca Koleosho, Pablo Pagis and Ilan Kebbal supported Sinayoko in the attack, with each player contributing to Paris FC's first two goals.

With the score tied at 2-2, Rosenior then opted to introduce another set of pacy wingers Moses Simon, Patrick Zabi and Rudy Matondo for the final 20 minutes.

The tactical decision paid off when Simon hit a shot that touched CJ Egan-Riley’s hand for the penalty, sealing Sinayoko's hat-trick.

“I'm very excited to work with them,” Rosenior said in response to a question by Striver Football. “When you can bring on Moses or Zabi or Rudy Matondo, you're in a good place with their quality and their energy.

“What pleases me the most is their willingness and their humility to press, to defend.

“Those are small things for attacking players that I love to see. I'm enjoying working with every single one of them.”

SINAYOKO’S HAT-TRICK IS A REWARD FOR HARD WORK

Rosenior also reserved some praise for hat-trick hero Lassine Sinayoko who played from start to finish at the Velodrome.

The former Chelsea boss suggested that the Mali international loves scoring at the Velodrome after his previous contribution of a goal and an assist at the same stadium during his spell at Auxerre in November 2024.

“I think for Lassine, it was the perfect game. I think he likes this stadium,” Rosenior said.

“I said to him before the game, I remember him in Auxerre, he scored here before.

“Some players have favourite stadiums, but Lassine, yes his goals were great, but what he gives us are his pressing, his work rate, his defending.

“When you work that hard as a player, you get your rewards and I was delighted with his overall performance.”
