Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha has been left out of Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad for friendlies against Australia and India.
Selecao face the CommBank Socceroos first on September 25th and again four days later. They then face India on October 3rd and this will be the first time Ancelotti's side are in action after a disappointing World Cup campaign.
A 2-1 defeat to Norway saw the most successful nation in the competition's history crash out in the Round of 16. Much was made of Ancelotti's squad selection for the tournament, including the decision to leave Chelsea striker Joao Pedro at home.

Brazil's squad for their friendlies against Australia has been confirmed, and Ancelotti has recalled Pedro. The Chelsea frontman, who is in red-hot form, joins a star-studded list of attackers, including Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and Barcelona's Raphinha.
There's no place for Cunha despite performing well at the World Cup. The United star isn't injured but Ancelotti has decided not to include him in his squad.
Brentford's Igor Thiago also misses out after earning a call-up for the tournament in the summer. He encountered a difficult campaign in the USA, Mexico and Canada, losing his place in the starting lineup.
Gabriel Martinelli is another big-name who has failed to make the squad. He headed to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal from Arsenal earlier this summer in a £60m deal.

Andrey Santos Makes the Cut
United will still have one of their players on duty with Brazil as summer signing Andrey Santos has made Ancelotti's squad. He joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in a £50m deal and could be set to become Casemiro's heir at international level.
Santos has earned six caps thus far in his career but didn't travel to North America for the World Cup. He opted to leave Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford to gain more first-team opportunities.
The 22-year-old has made a promising start under Michael Carrick but isn't guaranteed a starting berth in midfield. He's battling it out with Kobbie Mainoo and fellow new signings Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba to be first choice.
