Chelsea have agreed a deal with Aston Villa for the departure of striker Nicolas Jackson.
Both Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa were pushing for the Senegalese in recent hours, but Chelsea have now struck a deal with the English side.
Personal terms were completed in recent hours after talks with Unai Emery, his former manager at Villareal.
According to David Ornstein, the Blues will receive a base fee of £47.5m with a large sum of £17.5m in add ons.
It is understood that some of the add ons will be easily achievable, while some are regarded as more difficult to reach.
Jackson spent two seasons at Chelsea, playing under Mauricio Pochettino and Enzo Maresca before spending the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Bayern Munich.
Across his time with the Blues, the Senegal international made 81 appearances, scoring 30 goals and registering 12 assists.
Chelsea share a good relationship with Villa’s hierarchy, and are considering a move for their goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
