The summer transfer merry-go-round is never-ending, and Paris Saint-Germain might be looking towards Barcelona to solve a possible impending attacking headache.

With uncertainty brewing in the French capital, Luis Enrique has reportedly set his sights on a familiar face at in the Catalans strike force.

Why PSG Could Lose Bradley Barcola

The reason for this potential blockbuster move is the uncertain future of Bradley Barcola. The French winger still has two years left on his current deal at the Parc des Princes, but talks for an extension are "completely stalled" according to Sport.

Things get even more complicated when you factor in his representation. Barcola's agent is Moussa Sissoko—the exact same man who was behind Ousmane Dembele's exit out of Barcelona in 2024.

Following a recent meeting between Sissoko and PSG sports advisor Luis Campos, the club are no longer ruling out a summer sale if the player continues to drag his feet.

Why Ferran Torres Is PSG's Preferred Target

If Barcola leaves, Les Parisiens have their eyes on Barcelona forward Ferran Torres as a top target to replace him.

Luis Enrique knows Torres inside and out. The pair worked closely together when Enrique managed the Spanish national team, and there is a clear level of trust between them. He is also versatile and can play across the front line as a reliable option.

Can Barcelona Afford to Lose Ferran Torres?

Barcelona are light in attack as it is with Robert Lewandwoski confirming he's leaving for the MLS. According to Sport, Barcelona currently view Torres as "untouchable".

The Blaugrana are extremely short-staffed in the number 9 role with Rashford not confirmed to be signed on a permanent either. Last season under Hansi Flick, Torres stepped up massively and gradually phased Lewandowski out of the starting XI as Barcelona secured a La Liga and Spanish Super Cup double.

On top of that, Barca are currently struggling to buy attacking talent themselves. They recently bid $116 million for Julian Alvarez, only to see Real Madrid table a massive $175 million counter-offer.

With world class striking talent hard to find, Barcelona are desperately trying to renew Torres' contract, which currently expires on June 30, 2027.

Unlike Barcola's situation in Paris, Torres has always shown he wants to stay winning at Barcelona and will not be hard to agree to fresh terms. Unless PSG consider overpaying if Barcola leaves then Enrique might have to look elsewhere to rebuild his attack.
