Randal Kolo Muani is a Juventus player again, and this time nobody's talking about a loan. Juventus confirmed the move on their official website on Saturday, finally bringing weeks of negotiations to an end.

The 27-year-old forward, who spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan in Turin, has now signed permanently, with Paris Saint-Germain releasing him for good this time. The confirmation came hours after Fabrizio Romano reported the final terms on X.

The announcement ended days of conflicting reports over how the deal would be structured. The Bianconeri fans have been chasing this signing since Kolo Muani first left Turin, and the club's own statement did not attempt to hide their excitement about getting him back into Luciano Spalletti's attack.

For most of July, Juventus and PSG were working toward a loan deal with an obligation to buy, a structure that would only become permanent if Juventus qualified for European football next season.

Juventus and PSG scrapped the obligation-to-buy clause and agreed a straight permanent transfer instead, with no loan involved.

Romano confirmed the fee at €38 million guaranteed, with a further €12 million in add-ons pushing the total value toward €50 million. Some of those bonuses, he noted, are considerably harder to unlock than others.

Kolo Muani's contract runs to June 2031, reportedly worth just over €5 million net per season, according to figures reported alongside Romano's update. That's a six-year commitment from a club that spent months hesitating over exactly this player.

He arrived in Turin on Saturday evening for his medical at Juventus' J-Medical facility, with the club aiming to complete the paperwork in time for him to join the squad on its pre-season tour. Les Parisiens originally paid Eintracht Frankfurt €95 million for Kolo Muani back in 2023.

Getting €50m back, on a player they'd already decided not to build around, counts as a reasonable outcome from their side of the table.

Why Juventus Needed This Signing

During his first loan spell at the Bianconeri in the second half of the 2024-25 season, Kolo Muani scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 22 appearances, quickly becoming one of the club's most reliable attacking outlets.

His first spell convinced Juventus that they wanted him back. Agreeing a deal with PSG proved much harder. When the clubs failed to reach terms last summer, Kolo Muani joined Tottenham on loan instead. He scored just five goals in 41 appearances for Spurs.

Juventus' decision spoke for itself. Instead of entering the market for a different striker, Luciano Spalletti's side chose to invest in a player who had already proved he could deliver in Turin.
