No one is better at judging the quality of players like their peers, particularly those who have played with them at some point in their careers.

Former Argentina international Carlos Tevez provided a response to the commonly-asked question of his personal five-a-side team from players he played alongside.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand's Rio Meets podcast, the coach named some of the players he played with at Manchester United as members of his five-man dream team.

Ronaldo, Messi and more: Tevez discloses dream five-a-side team

In a candid chat with former teammate Ferdinand, Tevez was asked to choose the five best players he shared a dressing room with in his career.

The retired forward played for some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City, and Juventus, but had no problem bringing up a five-man list.

He picked former Man Utd teammates Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney, both of whom earned legendary status with the Red Devils.

Tevez also spoke of his admiration for Scholes, who he ranked as the absolute best player he ever played with.

He also chose Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he won the UEFA Champions League title in 2008, and Lionel Messi, who he played with in the Argentina national team.

To round off his list, he picked the 'classy' Andrea Pirlo, his teammate from his days in Serie A with Juventus.

Revisiting the European career of Carlos Tevez

Tevez spent just nine years of his professional career in Europe, joining Premier League side West Ham United on a permanent deal from Corinthians in the summer of 2006 alongside compatriot Javier Mascherano.

He scored the goal that kept the Hammers in the Premier League on the final day of the 2006-07 season and was the club's Player of the Year in his debut season in east London.

Tevez joined Manchester United on an initial two-year loan deal in the summer of 2007, and scored 27 goals in 89 appearances for the club, winning seven titles, including two Premier League crowns and a Champions League title.

The Red Devils were prepared to sign the forward on a permanent deal at the end of his two-year loan, but he revealed that he did not wish to play for them anymore.

He instead joined rivals Manchester City on a permanent deal in the summer of 2009, enjoying a rollercoaster ride with the Cityzens until he left the club in 2013.

He won three titles in the blue half of Manchester, including their first Premier League title in the 2011-12 season, and scored 73 goals in 148 outings.

The striker moved to Juventus in the summer of 2013 and remained with the Bianconeri until 2015, scoring 50 goals in 96 appearances and winning four titles, including two league crowns.

He left Juventus and returned to Boca Juniors in the summer of 2015, fulfilling his dream of winning the Argentine Primera Division.
