Tottenham's Archie Gray was able to net his first top flight goal to win a vital game away for Thomas Frank's Tottenham.

The opening ten minutes of the game was slow as both sides toyed with one another. Neither side were able to btreak into the box to create any meaningful chance. Mateta was able to get the ball in the box at one stage but was called for offside.

Palace were in control of the ball slightly more than the visitors but had not managed a shot on target in the opening stages.

Richarlison who had not stopped pressing all game was able to get on the end of a cross from Pedro Porro and put it away. VAR intervened however as young swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall was off side in the build up to the goal.

The Eagles first great chance came from Mateta, receiving the ball from Adam Wharton at the edge of the box. Mateta could only shoot it wide of the target.

A foul was committed by Archie Gray. However, Vicario was able to claim subsequent free kick.

Another great chance from a free kick came shortly after, Lacroix heading the ball towards Mateta who could only send it just above the crossbar.

It was an aerial bombardment for Tottenham as Palace continued to swing balls into dangerous areas in the box.

Jefferson Lerma took a knock and was forced off however was quickly placed back into the game.

Crystal Palace were dominating Tottenham, getting shots off from distance. During this period though they did struggle to really challenge the Spurs back line.

A mistake from former Nottingham Forest and Leeds player Djed Spence allowed Wharton to roll a shot towards the keeper but Vicario was able to get low and catch it cleanly.

Neither side were able to create good quality chances as they entered the final ten minutes of the first half. Passes were successful for Palace deep into Tottenham's half but they could not produce anything.

Spurs were able to win a corner from Kolo Muani. Porro crossed it in and the ball bounced on the heads of Tottenham players. Archie Gray was able to head it into the net to make a 0-1 to the visitors.

Palace despite having more of the ball were unable to do anything with it. Wharton was able to get on the ball often but did not manage to produce his normal brilliance.

The eagles looked highly susceptible on the counter. Will Hughes being forced to put a foul on Porro earning himself a Yellow card to make a breakaway.

Tottenham started back up in second half well, testing Dean Henderson with a free kick shortly after the break. Palace were able to win the ball however and win a corner from a shot through Justin Devenny. Nothing came off the set piece though.

The game continued to be played in the midfield as both sides passed between their back line when they had the ball.

The bombardment of Spurs's box continued. Mitchell and Pino both putting crosses into it, the Spurs defence standing tall to knock it all away.

The best chance came from Palace as they finally do well from a cross, Justin Devenny finds himself at the far post with an open goal but can only slice the ball and send it wide.

Palace clearly looking for more lethality in the final third brought on former Arsenal man Eddie Nketiah, instead of Clyne. He immediately made an impact finding himself in the box but with pressure on him could only place it wide.

Lucas Bergvall sustained an injury just after the sixtieth minute and made way for João Palhinha. Oderbert also came on for his country-man Kolo Muani.

The game was dialling down as neither side was able to break the others defence despite good quality dribbling and passing. The next chance fell to Eddie Nketiah as he broke down the left hand side but could only place the shot wide of the far post.

Lacroix was able to get a header way after a great delivery from Adam Wharton but he could only put it wide of goal. Palace consistently dominating but not able to produce anything despite putting balls in dangerous areas.

A lack of serious goal threat was clear from both sides.

Richarlison for a second time in the match had a goal disallowed for off side after a stellar cross from former West Ham man Mohamed Kudus. Two disallowed goals in for the brazilian in this game. Palace had hope restored hope that they may be able to snatch something from this game in the last ten minutes.

It was an achey final minutes to the game, Tottenham defending well to prevent Palace creating any momentum.

Dragusin and Brennan Johnson came on to see the game out with Goal scorer Archie Gray coming off the pitch with Kudus.

Tottenham had one more great chance from Oderbert who hit the post, a close chance for the visitors but the game instead finished nervously for Spurs fans.

One final long throw came from Palace and despite a long shot from Wharton nothing was able to come of it.

Thomas Frank has been able to finally get a win to move his side up the league. Meanwhile Crystal Palace losing at home leaving them two points adrift of the likely European places this season.
