Arsenal have once again been active in the youth market, signing defender Habeeb Ogunneye from Manchester United on a free transfer.
The Gunners have been active in the youth market under new academy director Pascal De Maesschalck, as they look to recruit some of the best young talent available.

Born in Hackney, London to Nigerian parents in 2005, Habeeb Ogunneye is an attack-minded right-back who spent the last five years at Manchester United.
The youngster is eligible to play for Nigeria internationally and has represented England at U-17 level, playing three games between 2021 and 2022.
He made his debut for the U-18 side of the Red Devils when he was 15 years old, and progressed through several academy levels during his time at Old Trafford.
The defender got his first taste of UEFA Youth League action in the 2023-24 season, when he also made a senior matchday squad for the first time in his career.
He spent the first half of the 2025-26 season on loan at League Two side Newport County, where he made 21 senior appearances and scored once.
He returned to Manchester United at the start of 2026, and played four times in total for the U-21 team in Premier League 2.
After five years at Manchester United, Ogunneye has decided to return to London and pursue a new pathway at Arsenal.
He confirmed the transition on Instagram, thanking the staff at Manchester United, as well as his teammates and fans for the role they have played for the last five years of his life.
"Five years. What a journey.
"Forever grateful for the memories, the people and everything this club has given me. Time for the next chapter," he wrote.
The post was accompanied by a picture of him as a youngster in training gear and another of him stepping out as part of the matchday squad at Old Trafford.
