Goals were aplenty in this year's StriveAid charity match but both Team Gilberto's Mac Chisholm and Team Lindley's Jason Davenport impressed between the sticks.
The two goalkeepers pulled off fine saves throughout a frenetic affair at Worthing FC's Sussex Transport Community Stadium. Gilberto had Chisholm to thank for some superb goalkeeping at times including in the first half when he denied Kyle Hudlin and denied Jelani from point-blank range.
At the other end, Davenport was on hand several times to ensure Team Lindley remained in the game. And it's one of his saves in particular that has been awarded Save of the Game.

With Team Gilberto 8-4 ahead, they pushed for a ninth goal in the 49th minute. A free-kick opportunity led to BigJohnGK knocking the ball down and it fell to Bradz trying his luck at goal.
Davenport reacted instinctively, diving to his left to push the ball to safety. While Team Lindley's shot-stopper didn't celebrate his save, it certainly warranted recognition amid the plethora of goals on the day.

Jason Davenport on What Playing at StriveAid Meant to Him
Speaking ahead of StriveAid, Davenport told Striver that he relished the chance to play alongside fellow content creators. He said:
"For me to be able to play alongside other content creators that all share the love for football online is a huge privilege, and I can't wait to be a part of such a great community."
Davenport whose break on TikTok came with a viral 'Story time at Sainsburys' video, has racked up an impressive 3.6 million followers. No doubt they will have been impressed with what they saw from him last Saturday and hope to see him appear in next year's StriveAid charity match.
