There are certain selling points used in pushing a country to a foreigner; some border on commerce, others on economic benefits, but for Mostafa Mohamed, the civilization of Egypt ticks the box.

Mohamed, in an interview with an Egyptian media outlet, Onze Masr, outlined the best thing about a child growing up in the North African country.

Egypt - The Cradle of Civilization

Mostafa Mohamed paid particular attention to Egypt’s civilization and centred his lens on the nation's history.

The Nantes striker posited that those who hail from the country have every reason to be proud of their heritage.

He shared, “The best thing for a child about growing up in Egypt is of course that he is born in a great civilization and history.”

Mohamed labelled it as a “good thing” for a child to develop in an environment as such. He further buttressed the feeling that envelopes one when they touch down in Egypt.

Personalizing his experience, Mostafa Mohamed opined that he always feels refreshed and happy whenever he is returning to Egypt to see his loved ones.

“The whole country should be proud of it. This is a good thing for a child to grow up in an environment like that.

“When you arrive in Egypt, you feel something else; you feel that you are refreshed and happy, returning to see your family and friends.”

The 28-year-old got his introduction into the world at the Egyptian city of Giza, the third-largest city in the North African nation by area after Cairo and Alexandria.

Giza is the sixteenth-largest city in Africa by population, with over 4 million people, based on data from 2023.

Need I inform you that the famous pyramids of Egypt are located in Giza and this pretty much gives credence to the comments of Mohamed.

Mostafa Mohamed’s home city also has other notable tourist attractions: the Great Sphinx, Zoo of Giza, alongside the Grand Egyptian Museum, to mention a few.

Mohamed plays his club football with Ligue 1 outfit Nantes and he is one player in the good books of Egyptians due to his commitment level and dedication.

Mostafa Mohamed came on in the 34th minute, replacing Emam Ashour, and he wasted no time in settling into the demands of the game.

The former Galatasaray and Zamalek man has earned 55 caps for the Pharaohs of Egypt, scoring 14 goals and providing 7 assists.
