Atlético Madrid and Juventus are reportedly monitoring Arsenal winger Noni Madueke, according to The Telegraph, with the England international yet to start a Premier League match this season.
The 24-year-old joined the Gunners from Chelsea in July 2025 and is now attracting interest ahead of the January transfer window. He has found game time hard to come by at the start of this campaign and could be set to be in the shop window come January or next summer.
Atlético Madrid and Juventus Showing Interest in Madueke
Atlético Madrid and Juventus are said to be long-term admirers of Madueke, while other clubs could enter the race if Arsenal are willing to consider a loan move. There is no indication that the club have decided to let the winger leave.
Madueke has previously played his football outside of England, spending time in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven. He has encountered a topsy-turvy time in the Premier League at both Stamford Bridge and now the Emirates.
Why Madueke Has Not Started a Premier League Game for Arsenal
Madueke has made five appearances in all competitions this season, playing 176 minutes and scoring once. His goal came in Arsenal's 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich Town.
The 24-year-old started the Carabao Cup tie against Ipswich and the Community Shield, while also making an 18-minute substitute appearance in a 1-0 Champions League win at Napoli. He has played 24 minutes across two Premier League substitute appearances.
Bukayo Saka remains the first-choice option on the right, while 16-year-old Max Dowman scored twice against Ipswich, and on the left-wing Christos Tzolis joined this summer.
Madueke made 16 Premier League starts last season as the club won the title, although a knee injury kept him out for about two months. His limited playing time this season has also seen him lose his place in the England squad.
Thomas Tuchel left Madueke out of England's squad announced on 18 September, despite the winger having made five appearances at the World Cup. The announcement did not give a reason for his omission.
Arsenal's Position on a Madueke Exit
Arsenal paid an initial £48.5m for Madueke, with the deal rising to £52m with add-ons, according to Sky Sports. He signed a five-year contract running until 2030. Arteta has previously praised Madueke's character.
“Noni's got the personality, especially when things are difficult, to step in and make aggressive decisions,” he said in March on Arsenal's website.
