Chelsea have today confirmed their squad numbers ahead of the 2026/27 season, where they will kick off their action against local rivals Fulham on Monday night.

It is important to note that a player receiving a squad number does not guarentee them to stay, however, it does give an indication of where things are headed.

It has been reported by Telegraph Sport that the likes of Tosin, Mudryk, Jackson and Delap are currently training away from Xabi Alonso's first team setup. However, they are not apart of a 'bomb squad' and are still on the same training pitches and allowed to use first team facilities.

Chelsea's full first team squad numbers are as follows:

- Robert Sanchez

- Marco Palestra

- Wesley Fofana

- Valentin Barco

- Maxence Lacroix

- Levi Colwill

- Pedro Neto

- Enzo Fernandez

- Joao Pedro

- Cole Palmer

- Jamie Gittens

- Liam Delap

- Jordan Henderson

- Nicolas Jackson

- Dario Essugo

- Morgan Rogers

- Danny Welbeck

- Mamadou Sarr

- Jorrel Hato

- Emmanuel Emegha

- Geovany Quenda

- Reece James

- Moises Caicedo

- Malo Gusto

- Teddy Sharman-Lowe

- Pep Chavarria

- Aaron Anselmino

- Reggie Watson

- Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli

- Mykhailo Mudryk

- Josh Acheampong

- Tayo Subuloye

- Tosin Adarabioyo

- Mike Penders

- Estevao Willian

- Gaga Slonina

- Romeo Lavia

One interesting number change of that is Joao Pedro to the number nine. Chelsea have had a long history of the shirt number being 'cursed', with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain, Romelu Lukaku and Liam Delap all failing to suceed while donning the number.
