Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Chelsea winger Estêvão on loan in January, with talks between the clubs reportedly underway.

Chelsea would consider allowing the Brazilian international to leave until the end of the season, but any deal would come with strict conditions.

PSG would have to cover his full wages, agree to no option or obligation to buy, and provide assurances about his playing time. No agreement has been reached, and discussions are reportedly still at an early stage.

Why Chelsea Could Consider A Loan For Estêvão

Chelsea still view Estêvão as part of their long-term plans after signing him from Palmeiras in 2025, according to ESPN. A loan move could give the 19-year-old regular minutes while keeping his long-term future at Chelsea intact.

Estêvão enjoyed more playing time in his first season at Chelsea, making 36 appearances across all competitions and recording eight goals and three assists.

Chelsea’s reported demand for playing-time assurances suggests they want Estêvão to gain regular first-team experience without losing sight of his long-term future at the club. It remains unclear whether those assurances would be included in the loan agreement or handled informally.

PSG Look For Attacking Cover After Kvaratskhelia Injury

PSG’s reported interest in Estêvão comes after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture in his right knee during the Champions League win over Barcelona on 20 October.

The French club confirmed the injury in a statement:

“Having suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during yesterday’s match against FC Barcelona, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will undergo surgery in the coming days.”

PSG have yet to announce a return date for the Georgian winger, who had made 11 appearances before the injury. Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos have also spent time on the sidelines.

The injuries have reduced Luis Enrique’s options, potentially increasing the need for reinforcements in January. Estêvão could provide another option in attack, although PSG have not publicly confirmed their interest in the Chelsea winger.

Any move would depend on the clubs reaching an agreement, particularly over wages and the playing-time assurances Chelsea reportedly want.
