Egypt’s talisman Mohamed Salah will be sporting a brand new ‘wheels’ this AFCON. The Liverpool star and Adidas have teamed up again to release his third signature football boot.
Mo Salah Making history again, and again
That was the caption on Adidas’ Instagram as they unveiled the new F50 Elite FG Salah this morning.
They created two posts to show off their latest boot model. One feature the ‘Egyptian King’ heavily while the other focused on the boot itself.
The background was the same for both, a slab of what appeared to be sandstone with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics inscribed into it.
Paying Homage to Egypt
The boot pays homage to Salah’s Egyptian nationality with sand-coloured hieroglyphics imprinted upon the white base.
The heel of the boot features a crown above a design that says ‘Egyptian King’ and ‘Mo’ underneath.
The Price to be the Best
To get your hands on the new boot, it wont be cheap.
The adidas site has the F50’s priced at £230. Although if they give you Mo’s skill it will be worth the money.
Salah will be rocking the new boots throughout the AFCON in Morocco. Egypt kick-off their campaign on Monday against Zimbabwe
