Robert Sanchez has agreed to join Como on loan for the 2026/27 season.
Sanchez agreed to find a new club after the Blues signed Emiliano Martinez for £7.5m from Aston Villa last week.
The deal represents the second between clubs this summer, with Como signing Trevoh Chalobah on a permanent deal.
There was an understanding that Sanchez did not want to be second choice, while Chelsea are more than happy to keep Mike Penders as the back up option.
