Zion Suzuki is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, while Juventus are already pushing to bring him back to Serie A on loan. PSG have reached an agreement worth around €35 million, including bonuses, to sign the Parma goalkeeper.

Les Parisiens' goalkeeping department is already crowded. Matvey Safonov arrived in 2024, and Lucas Chevalier followed a year later, leaving competition for the starting place.
With that in mind, an immediate loan for Suzuki has been part of the discussions around the transfer from an early stage. Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto both report that the fee has increased from an initial offer of roughly €28 million.
The current €35 million package includes add-ons, although a larger portion of the fee is now guaranteed upfront rather than being tied to bonuses.
Parma, which signed Suzuki permanently in July 2024, is set to make the biggest goalkeeper sale in the club’s recent history. Suzuki has represented Japan since making his international debut in 2022.
His breakthrough came during a loan spell with Belgian club Sint-Truiden, where he played 32 league matches.
Parma was impressed enough to sign him permanently, and he made his Serie A debut against Fiorentina in August 2024. Since then, Suzuki has established himself as Parma's first-choice goalkeeper.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus want to complete the goalkeeper signing before the weekend so Suzuki can join training under Luciano Spalletti as soon as possible. Mattia Perin is expected to remain as the backup goalkeeper if the deal goes through.
What Still Needs to Happen Before Suzuki Joins Juventus
The reported structure, with L'Equipe among the outlets cited, is a season-long loan with no option to buy attached. That framework has now been agreed in principle between the two clubs.
The remaining issue is the financial split, specifically how Suzuki's wages will be shared between Paris Saint-Germain and Juve during the loan. Suzuki still has to travel to Paris, complete his medical, and sign his PSG contract before any loan paperwork can be finalised.
Only then can he join the Bianconeri on a season-long loan, with the Turin club finally set to land the goalkeeper they have been pursuing through several different routes this summer.
