Academy recruitment at England's biggest clubs is not slowing down, with teams continuing to pick up the best young talents from within and outside the country.

The Athletic has reported the latest major capture, with Arsenal reaching an agreement for 16-year-old Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph.

The Gunners will sign the youngster this summer as part of their drive to improve the quality of the youngsters on their books.

They have picked up one of the most lethal goalscorers in his age bracket in addition to others who have joined them this summer.

Arsenal Agree Deal for Liverpool Teen Vincent Joseph

Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle to sign Vincent Joseph from Liverpool this summer.

The 16-year-old turned down scholarship terms from the Reds after his schoolboy contract ended this summer, opening the door to a move elsewhere.

He has now chosen to join Arsenal, and talks are ongoing between both teams to decide on a fee, rather than leave the decision to a tribunal.

Joseph's decision marks a significant coup for Arsenal, who have managed to lure one of the nation's most highly rated young players to Hale End.

Vincent Joseph: England U-16 Striker With a Proven Scoring Record

Vincent Joseph is just under six feet tall, standing at 1.81m. His size makes him an effective striker, while his technical ability also allows him to operate as a No. 10.

The youngster is blessed with explosive movement and clinical finishing inside the box and that profile is reflected in his record of eight goals in nine games for England's U-16 team.

He also scored three goals in his first two games for Liverpool's U-18 team in the U-18 Premier League last season.

Joseph caught the eyes of several sides with his performances for Liverpool and England, and both Manchester United and Bayern Munich tried to sign him this summer.

His signing reflects the strides of Arsenal in securing high-quality teenage talents, including the likes of Axel Donczew, Mylo Bernard, and Elijah Upson.

They have lost quite a few of theirs, most especially Kyran Thompson, this summer, as well.

What Young Players Can Learn From Vincent Joseph's Path

Young footballers must understand that strong performances on the international stage can enhance their reputation just as much as performances for their club.

Joseph combined strong performances for his club with equally impressive displays for his country, helping him build a strong reputation in youth football.

Also, young footballers should know how to identify projects that will benefit them in their careers and follow these projects properly.

Joseph lost his belief in the project at Liverpool and sought a home elsewhere, and Arsenal presented a project which resonated with him, leading him to join them.

Finally, young footballers should develop their versatility and ability to play in more than one position without compromising their quality.

Vincent Joseph's versatility makes him an asset in the modern game, ensuring that interest in players like him is usually high.
