Thomas Tuchel has named his final England squad of 2026, with two high-profile attacking omissions among the biggest talking points ahead of the November international break.

The Three Lions face Croatia and Spain in their final UEFA Nations League group-stage fixtures, with a place in next year's quarter-finals still to be secured.

There are also two new faces in the senior squad, while several familiar names return after missing the previous international window.

Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke miss out on England squad

Cole Palmer has been left out of Tuchel's 25-man squad despite being available for selection, having withdrawn from the previous international break.

The 24-year-old Chelsea playmaker will therefore miss England's final camp of 2026, with Tuchel opting for alternative attacking options ahead of the fixtures against Croatia and Spain.

There is also no place for Arsenal winger Noni Madueke, whose omission may come as a surprise given his recent performances and the injury to Bukayo Saka.

Madueke has started seven of Arsenal's last 10 matches and registered four goal involvements, three goals and one assist across his last eight appearances.

His recent form had put him in contention for another England opportunity, but he will instead remain with his club during the international window.

Jobe Bellingham earns first England call-up as Tuchel welcomes returns

There are two first-time senior call-ups in Tuchel's squad, with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham and Fulham's Josh King both earning promotion from the under-21 set-up.

Bellingham has impressed during the early stages of the season in Germany, while King is already familiar with the senior environment after travelling with the squad to the United States for their pre-World Cup training camp in the summer.

Tuchel has also welcomed back Declan Rice and Djed Spence, who both missed the previous camp through injury.

Ben White returns to the England squad for the first time since March, having missed the World Cup this summer after suffering an untimely injury towards the end of last season.

Captain Harry Kane is also included and could make history during the upcoming fixtures. Having equalled Peter Shilton's record of 125 England appearances during the previous international window, Kane needs one more cap to become the most-capped player in the history of the men's senior team.

England squad for November's Nations League fixtures

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Jason Steele (Brighton & Hove Albion), James Trafford (Leeds United).

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid), Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton), Marc Guéhi (Manchester City), Lewis Hall (Newcastle United), Ezri Konsa (Arsenal), Jarell Quansah (Bayer Leverkusen), Djed Spence (Inter Milan), Ben White (Arsenal).

Midfielders: Elliot Anderson (Manchester City), Jobe Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), James Garner (Everton), Josh King (Fulham), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Declan Rice (Arsenal).

Forwards: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Leeds United), Eberechi Eze (Arsenal), Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest), Anthony Gordon (Barcelona), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool), Morgan Rogers (Chelsea).

England currently sit second in Group C and know that avoiding defeat against Croatia at Wembley on Thursday 12 November will be enough to secure their place in the quarter-finals.

They then travel to Madrid to face Spain on Sunday 15 November, with two wins potentially enough to finish top of the group, depending on the goal difference.
