Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce have reached an agreement with Serie A side Napoli for the permanent signing of Romelu Lukaku.
Sky Italia reports that the Istanbul club will pay around €6 million plus €3 million in bonuses which will also allows Napoli cut their wage bill.
The bonus package includes €2 million for personal performances and €1 million for winning the league in Turkey.
Lukaku has passed his medicals in Italy and he is expected to arrive Istanbul later on Tuesday for the formal signing of his contract.
Lukaku's Difficult Napoli Spell Comes to an End
Last season, the Belgian striker struggled to get regular playing time in Antonio Conte's team.
From playing a key role in Napoli's Serie A title-winning squad in the 2024-25 season to being limited to a substitute role last campaign, the Belgian star's nightmare is coming to an end.
Lukaku played just 40 minutes of football in five Serie A matches and managed to score just one goal in the 2025-26 season.
During his two-year spell in Naples, the 33-year-old had a tally of 15 goals in 45 matches across all competitions.
Lukaku's Italian Career: Two Serie A Titles and a Lasting Legacy
Lukaku has so far enjoyed his most successful club spell in Italy with two Serie A titles at Inter and Napoli.
He first joined the Nerazzurri for two years in 2019 and he returned to the San Siro Stadium in 2022 for a loan spell after struggling at Chelsea.
The former Manchester United striker also had a brief stint at AS Roma where he played on loan from Chelsea during the 2023-24 season.
In addition to his Serie A triumph in Milan and Naples, Lukaku also won the Italian Super Cup at the two clubs and he was also inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
He scored more than 110 goals in 224 appearances for Inter, Roma and Napoli.
