West Ham and AC Milan have agreed a deal for German Striker Niclas Füllkrug. Reported by Fabrizio Romano, a loan deal for the former Dortmund man has been agreed. AC Milan will cover the Salary and a buy option for around £11 Million.

The German striker joined the Irons after an impressive season in the Bundesliga, scoring 12 goals. His contributions for BVB led to the Champions League final. Dortmund lost the final to Real Madrid, managed by former Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Months after this final, Niclas Füllkrug made the move to the Premier League with West Ham for a reported fee of around £27 Million.

Things have not been easy for the striker however struggling with injury issues. He has missed thirty-two games since joining the Hammers. Füllkrug only made eighteen appearances for West Ham in the Premier League last season. Worse still, he was able to pick up three goals in those appearances.

Since Nuno Espirito Santo's appointment at the London Stadium Füllkrug has had limited appearances due to injury and not being picked. A move to Italy will give the striker the opportunity to prove his quality once more.

The Red side of Milan find themselves in a title race along with city rivals Inter Milan. They are only one point behind their fellow San Siro based club, who are currently leading the division. Napoli, Roma and Juventus all follow just behind, an enthralling title race in the Serie A.

Former Chelsea man Christian Pulisic leads Milan in goals this season. There is a hole to be filled at Center Forward for AC Milan as strikers have struggled for goals this season. Nkunku and Santiago Giménez have both failed to find the net so far the seven time Champions League winners and fans will hope that Füllkrug will be able to fill that gap.

He will be playing in front of Legendary midfielder Luka Modrić, who was part of the Real madrid side that defeated him in the Champions League final back in 2024.

AC Milan will hope that the German striker is the key to unlocking the Serie A title.
