Kylian Mbappe has ended a long-term partnership with Nike and the Real Madrid forward has signed a deal with Swiss sportswear brand On who will become his new boot supplier, per The Athletic.
The French forward had worn Nike boots since 2006 but will now be showing off the newest sportswear brand to develop football footwear. He is also taking an equity stake in the company whose Director of Football is Thierry Henry.
Nike remains a popular choice of football boots in the Madrid squad and many of Mbappe's teammates are partnered up with the sports brand. With that said, here are the list of boots players in Jose Mourinho's squad are wearing this season.
Goalkeepers
Thibaut Courtois remains Mourinho's number one and the Belgian goalkeeper has been donning the Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Elite this season. The veteran shot-stopper did end his glove partnership with Nike to sign an endorsement deal with Elite Sport.
Andriy Lunin serves as backup to Courtois and the Ukrainian wears Adidas Copa Pure 2 Elite boots. He is struggling for game time but when called upon he's proven to be a reliable understudy.

Defenders
Most of Mourinho's defence appear to be Adidas fans as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao and Dean Huijsen all don the Adidas Predator 24's. They wear different coloured versions of the popular football boot.
Ibrahima Konate joined Madrid in the summer after leaving Liverpool and the Frenchman is a Nike athlete. He is wearing the Nike Premier III FG boots while fellow newcomer Denzel Dumfries is playing in Adidas F50 Elite boots.
Marc Cucurella was another high-profile arrival in the summer and he's the first player on this list not to wear Nike or Adidas. The 2026 World Cup-winning left-back instead surges down the wing wearing Puma Future 7 Ultimate.

Federico Valverde has likewise been wearing Predators but the Uruguayan prefers the Elite range. Bernardo Silva arrived as a free agent after leaving Manchester City and he is controlling the tempo in the middle of the park wearing the Adidas Copa Pure 2 Elite.
Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite is a popular choice with Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz lacing those boots up. Aurelien Tchouameni, meanwhile, is anchoring midfield in the Nike Phantom GX 2 Elite.

While Nike are losing Mbappe, Vinicius Junior remains one of their biggest ambassadors. The Brazilian is showcasing his flair in the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite boots this season.
New signing Yan Diomande is wearing New Balance Tekela V4+ Pro Low which seems to be a top choice with teenage talent. Endrick is also donning these boots this season.
Rising star Carlos Espi has caught the eye under Mourinho and he wears the Adidas F50 Elite. We're still waiting for Rodrygo to return from injury but he switched from Nike to Adidas back in 2025.
