Barcelona have completed the signing of 16-year-old attacking talent Dany Freire, with the teenager set to begin his development at La Masia after impressing during a trial with the club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Born in Lisbon on 19 September 2010, Freire moved to Luxembourg at a young age and began his football development at Racing FC Union Lëtzebuerg.
He holds Portuguese and Luxembourgish nationality and has represented Portugal at youth level after previously featuring for Luxembourg.
Freire's performances during his time in Luxembourg eventually brought him onto Barcelona's radar, with the club inviting him to its summer training camps before he impressed further with the Juvenil B side.
